Do drugs.

Get drunk.

Have sex.

Ignore your feelings.

As long as it's convincing.

Hmm...well probably Derpy's thought process as things happen.  

So.  He's basically screwed over to hell right now. :L  He's depressed.  Or well always has been.  But he's managed to smother it down for the most part.  He's kind of relapsing into this phase though  _{back when Derpy was first created} which just makes it harder to keep that façade up.
